The Amazon River is by far the most important river in Peru, the heart of the jungle and
perhaps
one of the few lungs left of the Earth. There, the pink dolphin swims joyfully, and
during the rainy
season (from january to march), many of the lodges surrounding the amazon
area get flooded
so you could be able to fish from your room window.
Forget about all the possible inconveniences (the heat, harmless bugs all over the place, a
different kind of comfort), at night, when you close your eyes and just listen to the forest, you know
you are in heaven. |
